LaserLink STM-1
The interconnection between ATM nodes or the transmision of TV signals requires STM-1 connections, which are bit error free. For these demands the LaserLink STM-1 has been developed. The four optical transmitters employed are based on the new VCSEL-Laser technology, providing a large sending aperture 60mm in diameter each. The LaserLink STM-1 has a multimode fiber interface with a wavelength of 1310 nm.
