| Could laser be dangerous or cause damage to health? |
| All AirLaser and LaserLink PDH/SDH systems are classified laser class 1m. Thus they are eye safe. Protocol transparent Laser-Link systems are classified laser class IIIb. For this reason the provided warning signs and the emergency key-switch have to be installed. Additionally a contact person has to be named and an installation location has to be choosen, where nobody can watch into the laser beam from 20 meters or nearer. |

| What will happen if the light beam is be shortly interrupted, for example by flocking birds? |
| Due to the capacious beam radius and the fact that in all AirLaser systems several beams are used it is not very likely that the rays are being interrupted. Nevertheless, should the rays be interrupted the superior protocol will immediately detect the interruption and resend the data imperceptible for the user. |
| How secure is the transmission against wiretapping? |
| Optical wireless links are extremely secure due to system. Since the beam is invisible and bundled, the connection can only be wiretapped by interrupting the beam. This interruption will immediately be recognised by the user. Moreover the beam is usually in a height that makes it rather impossible to wiretap it. |

| How does the weather effect the data transfer? |
| All systems can transfer the data, even if there is rain, snowfall or mist. Only intensive fog may cause an interruption of the track. For this reason we recommend to use the AirLaser with its integrated backup. |

| Is it possible to install laser systems in the inside of buildings, e.g. behind windows? |
| Yes it is.Ja. Please ask the CBL team for further information. |
| Do the systems need maintenance? |
| The systems work maintenance-free. Depending on the surrounding area it might be necessary to wipe the front panel once or twice a year with a soft cloth. |
| What kind of technical approvals are necessary? |
| The systems only need to be registered. A special technical approval is not necessary. |
| Do current fees occur? |
| No current fees will occur. |
| Can direct sun light exert influence on the data transfer? |
| In few cases of direct east-west connections, when the sun is directly behind the opposite site, the optical receiver could be temporary overmodulated. |
